What Is Fretboard Strategies?

Fretboard Strategies is a premium guitar tuition service based in Worthing, that can help you achieve your dreams and aspirations through bespoke 1-on-1 guitar tuition. Nick is dedicated to giving you a head start towards becoming the guitarist you’ve always wanted to be.

Finding the right kind of guitar lessons for you can make a huge difference! Some of us need that inspirational push to be better, and guitar lessons with a private guitar tutor can really help boost your confidence- you’ll have the freedom to make mistakes and progress as a guitar player in a friendly, enthusiastic environment.
​I have called the company Fretboard Strategies because I believe that’s what guitar playing all comes down to: developing a strategy for bringing out your own unique voice on the instrument, perfecting your technique, whilst having as much fun as possible and growing your understanding of music theory along the way.

I've been having regular weekly lessons with Nick for over a year. I came to him as an intermediate student with vast holes in my technique and knowledge of what was really going on behind the music I was playing. I have been playing guitar, largely self-taught, for over 10 years now and I became stagnant in my playing-style. Since having lesson's with Nick, I have been amazed by how much imagination I had lost in mastering the full capabilities of the fretboard.
There are many tutors out there that have aided bits and pieces to my knowledge (including A LOT of Youtubing), but have never explained things in such a way that not only makes sense, but has really inspired me develop more versatility in my playing. A very knowledgeable teacher and definitely​ recommended. Note: I am only 4 lessons in and feel that I've already learnt so much!
